Responsibilities Conduct rigorous inspections of raw materials (wood, upholstery, hardware) upon arrival, verifying quality, adherence to specifications, and absence of defects. Inspect furniture throughout various stages of production, focusing on dimensional accuracy, construction integrity, joinery quality, and flawless surface finish. Identify and promptly report any potential quality issues to supervisors. Collaborate with production teams to implement corrective actions and continually improve quality standards. Maintain accurate records of inspections, findings, and corrective measures taken. Stay updated on industry standards and best practices in furniture quality control. Qualifications Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Wood Science, Furniture Manufacturing, or a related field (preferred). Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a quality control role within the furniture industry. Strong understanding of furniture construction methods, materials, and common defects. Exceptional attention to detail and a keen eye for quality. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration across departments. Proficient in using measuring tools and quality control checklists.
