RESPONSIILITIES: Familiar with customers in the Indian steel industry, understand Indian sales methods and processes. Candidates preferably should be located near Praradip Port/West Bengal to be closer to more steel plant customers and facilitate transportation of goods. Has extensive experience (5-8 years) in commodity trading, which will help in expanding the company's coking coal and coke business in India. Familiar with the unloading operations of coking coal and coke at various Indian ports. Familiar with the sales model at Indian port locations, including a complete set of processes. Familiar with the procurement strategies and industrial technologies of various steel mills and merchant coke makers. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as finance, economics, business, or engineering. Additional qualifications in trading or finance are a plus. Previous experience in commodity trading, preferably in metallurgical coke or related commodities, with a strong understanding of trading principles, market dynamics, and risk management strategies.
