Job description

As the Marketing Head for our e-commerce platform, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to drive customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth. You will lead a talented team of marketing professionals and collaborate cross-functionally to create and implement effective marketing campaigns and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities :

Strategic Planning : Develop and implement a robust marketing strategy aligned with the company's objectives to drive e-commerce sales and brand awareness.

Team Leadership : Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing marketing team, ensuring they are motivated and aligned with the company's goals.

E-Commerce Expertise : Leverage your deep understanding of the e-commerce landscape to identify market trends, competitive insights, and growth opportunities.

Customer Acquisition : Plan and execute strategies for customer acquisition through various digital channels, including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and affiliate marketing.

Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) : Collaborate with the UX/UI team to optimize the online shopping experience, focusing on increasing conversion rates and reducing cart abandonment.

Data-Driven Insights : Analyze marketing data and metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns, make data-driven decisions, and continually improve marketing performance.

Content Strategy : Oversee content marketing efforts, ensuring that high-quality, engaging content is created and distributed across multiple channels.

Budget Management : Manage the marketing budget effectively, allocating resources to the most impactful initiatives while maintaining a positive ROI.

Brand Development : Work to enhance the brand's reputation and recognition in the e-commerce industry.

Partnerships and Collaborations : Identify and develop strategic partnerships and collaborations that can expand our reach and customer base.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA is a plus.

- Proven experience as a Marketing Head or Director, with at least [X] years of experience in the e-commerce industry.

- Marketing mandate, Marketing strategy, Brand Communications, Digital Marketing strategy, and Performance-driven campaigns.

- Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, technologies, and trends.

- Demonstrated success in developing and executing marketing strategies that drive revenue growth.

- Proficiency in digital marketing channels and tools, including SEO, SEM, social media advertising, email marketing, and analytics platforms.

- Exceptional leadership and team management skills.

- Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.

- Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
