Job description
Minimum Qualification and Experience
- At least 10 years of experience in development. 2-4 years’ experience in managing projects.
- Responsible for delivering the project s on time, cost and quality.
- Own and contribute to development processes . Ensure team adheres to the processes . Measure effectiveness and improve as required .
- Own estimation . Produce and own development plans.
- Ensure development meets functional and non-functional requirements.
- Monitor delivery progress to plan . Take appropriate actions in case of variations.
- Identify risks and take appropriate actions where required .
- Manage all stakeholder relationships.
- Contribute to project governance meetings.
- Line manage Development Leads, manage (matrix relationship) a cross-functional team of business analysts, technical architects/leads and QA team. (Typical team size – 15 to 50).
- Own and implement lessons learnt.
Mandatory Skills
- Experience in managing development projects with multiple streams/modules.
- Strong delivery management, risk management and change management skills.
- Experience in managing cross technology projects.
Desired Skills
- Experience in Agile methodology , TFS.
- Experience in working with UK stakeholders.
- Experience in managing technical/non-technical operations.
Competency Requirement
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Attention to detail and drive for results.
- Good planning, organizing & time management skills.
- Should be a very good team player with good interpersonal skills.
