Job description
One of our prestigious clients in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is seeking a Division Head for Rigs - Proposal & Estimation to be based in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Job Purpose: Coordinate development of Proposal & Estimate process and Pre-qualification (PQ) activities.
Key Responsibilities: - Support Sales in collecting PQ material based on Client requests.
- Manage PQ within budget, time and performance.
- Develop PQ schedule and compliance matrix including Technical Assessment Reports ( TAR's).
- Prepare PQ kick-off documentation and lead the proposal kick-off meeting and tender meetings.
- Coordinate with the PQ supporting functions.
- Accurate proposals within timing and budget constraints, including estimation of possible risks for the company and possible opportunities to enhance company offer towards the client.
- Run pre-screening for Request for Quotations (RFQs) /Invitations to Tender (ITTs) and present to Proposal & Estimate Manager recommendation on go/no-go decision.
- Manage of the tender and pursuit compliance within budget, time and performance.
- Develop Proposal schedule, compliance matrix including TAR's and budget (collecting also budget from other functions)
- Prepare Proposal kick-off documentation, in addition to leading the proposal kick-off meeting and tender meetings.
- Coordinate with the Proposal supporting functions.
- Commercial review of the Invitations to Tender (ITT) and corresponding contracting terms and conditions.
- Support Vice President (VP) of Business Development with the pursuit approval process, including preparation of the Business Review Committee (BRC) and Board approval documentation.
- Coordinate Project Execution Department (PED) development in conjunction with estimating department.
- Coordinate Risk Management process, including kick-off/workshops maintain risk register, distribute as per matrix and follow-up on actions.
- Coordinate hand-over process of awarded projects.
- Submit to Clients the Client Satisfaction Survey and follow-up regularly to collect responses.
Qualifications & Experience: - Bachelors degree in Naval Architecture & Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
- 12+ years of experience in Shipbuilding or Maritime or Oil & Gas Industry.
- Technical Certifications in the related field.
