Job Description We need a Specialist Python Automation Test Engineer to join our team in Pune. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated testing frameworks and tools.
You will have the role as
- A dedicated individual contributor where you
- Develop, maintain and take some responsibilities within automated test tools and test development for embedded SW development and
- Engage with cross-disciplinary, cross-country teams, promoting an Agile workflow to expedite development cycles and enhance end-product quality.
Qualifications Qualification and Knowledge:
Must have:
- More than 6 years of experience of Python development.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks and tools.
- Familiarity with Python frameworks like PyTest, Robot Framework, CANard, or python-OBD
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) tools such as Jenkins, Travis CI, and Gitlab(at least one of this).
- Use Git for version control and collaborate with the teams to manage code repositories.
- Problem-Solving: Proven ability to solve complex problems and contribute innovative solutions.
- Practiced in Agile methodologies.
- Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or related fields.
- Excellent communication skills in English, encompassing both verbal and written forms.
You also likely have:
- Been involved hands on in embedded systems development projects
- Industry domain knowledge within areas such as telecom or embedded products
- Knowledge in Dockers
- Versatility in programming with experience in other software languages and build automation scripts.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest automation testing trends and technologies.
- Willingness to take on some responsibilities.
