Job description

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES Accounting and Reporting Responsible for the Book-keeping of the clients as per IGAAP Responsible for the Accounts Payable/Vendor payment process of the clients Responsible for the Monthly book close as per IGAAP Responsible of Monthly MIS Preparing of the financial management reports, including financial planning, and forecasting Management of foreign import payments and intercompany payments amongst overseas group companies Responsible for Fixed Asset Register maintenance Regular/ weekly visits to the Client’s office for co-ordination & provide required support to team members on day-to-day operation and technical questions related with domestic/international transactions Coordination with the bankers for obtaining the bank statements, debit / credit advices, Foreign Inward Remittance Certificates, Bank reliasation certificate (BRC’s) etc. Knowledge of ESOP accounting (Equity and cash settled) Defining Internal Control policies and procedures and ensuring a strong control environment/evaluation of IFC Preparation/updation of the finance SOPs

Audits and Statutory Compliances Supervision and Co-ordination of Statutory Audit with the Big4 auditing firms Co-ordination with tax team of various tax matters and responsible for advice on corporate tax matters related to international structure and requirements of company Ensuring compliance with Company law and all other Statutory requirements like direct and indirect taxation and RBI regulations Responsible for Tax Audit as per Indian Income Tax Act Assist tax team on various tax matter such as Transfer pricing analysis on inter-company transactions and its implication on company’s profits Responsible for Internal Audit as per Companies Act Deducting and depositing the statutory dues with appropriate authorities Preparation of statement showing computation of income and tax liability thereon based on estimated profits given by the Company and Responsible for advance tax payment Advise on applicability of tax deduction on certain payments Understanding of withholding tax returns, GST & statutory deductions in case of PF Support in GST audit and refund process Responsible for STPI compliances

Payroll Management Completes operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results Determines payroll liabilities by approving the calculation of employee federal and state income and social security taxes, and employer’s social security, unemployment, and workers compensation payments Ensure for accurate tax computation of employees and timely distribution of Form-16 Maintains payroll guidelines by writing and updating policies and procedures Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential

Team Management and others Responsible for defining yours and team KRA’s/roles and responsibilities Encourage team members by regular appreciation, provide constructive (verbal/written) feedbacks for their career development as required Participate in monthly review of clients along with Head of the department Responsible for providing monthly invoice billing to the internal finance department Ensure periodic back up and security of data Co-ordination with various internal department for the client delivery

Minimum required qualifications Candidate must be Qualified CA (preferably along with post graduate qualification like MBA Finance)

Work Experience The ideal candidate should have 6+years of experience in handling Indian financial accounting: A/P, A/R, budgeting and finalization of financial statements as per provisions of Indian GAAP, for Indian subsidiaries of foreign company preferably IT companies. Exposure of working with international clients & ability to manage relationship with multiple stakeholders internally as well as in client organization at senior positions. Inter-personnel skills to manage & develop team members.
