Reporting to DGM - Materials Engineering
Position Summary
Material development for Commercial Vehicles - IC and EV projects. Coordinate with other agencies ensure time delivery of materials engineering deliverables. Work on new materials and technologies, generate and support the implementation light weighting, VAVE ideas. Prepare material standards/ work instruction/ design guidelines.
Thermal & Mechanical Joinery exposure is an added advantage.

Education Qualifications B.E./B Tech (Mechanical Engg. / Materials Engg.) /
M.Tech (Materials engineering)
Work Experience 3-7 years

Job Responsibilities
- Provide Material specification for all the parts and aggregates used in IC and Electric vehicles
- Material database support to CAE. Preparation of material standard, design guidelines and work instructions. Creating technical guidelines / technical specification / product specific guidelines.
- Benchmarking of structural & functional Chassis & Suspension components.
- Work on New Material & technology.
- Generate and support the implementation of Light weighting and VAVE ideas.
- Concern resolution and identification of root cause for Failures reported during testing.
- Inputs to RFQ and DFMEA. Preparing and executing design validation plan (DVP) and RLDA analysis for durability block cycle.
- Planning and conducting performance tests including static/ dynamic characteristics and durability tests for development parts and Benchmark parts.
- Ensure DVP test, analysis & release of FIR / Green Reports as per project timeline.
- Inputs for material and performance specification to design.
- Data compilation and making material property library
