Key Result Areas Supporting Actions
Contributes and is responsible to undertake in-depth competitor / peer analyses on a periodic basis to provide insights to appropriate stakeholders
- . Analyze peer's data & strategy on PTPK, Market mix, Lead, Market share and incentives
- . Periodic comparison of company's business performance parameters with major peers in the market for suitable decision making
- .Estimating UltraTech's Brand premium from peer's published turnover based on market intelligence considering impact of trade mix, blended mix, distribution mix etc and sharing the findings with CMO and MD
- . Collect and collate peers data on PTPK, Market mix, Lead, Market share and incentives
Accountable to analyze receivables, debtors, craft out a critical recovery plan while also simultaneously undertaking credit assessments for customers / vendors and limit allocation, thereby safeguarding the interests of the organization
- Trade credit limit fixation in line with SOP compliances for below INR. 20 Lakhs
Accountable for the preparation and validation of plant, depot, region, zone & overall budget for Cement, BPD, RMC, UBS while also generating reports with multiple variables and trend analysis to facilitate budget decisions
- . Generate various budget related reports with multiple variables, historical trend analysis, segment analysis to facilitate the budget decisions at zonal level
Accountable for the issue of purchase orders, regular review of performance of UBS outlets and negotiations with suppliers
- Regular review of performance of UBS outlets critically and highlight deviations
Accountable for analyzing monthly MIS, cost & profitability, historical trends, schemes and their effectiveness and other related analyses
- Prepare various operational MIS e.g. highlighting list of non-CD parties, uneconomical movement of material etc.
- Analyze and provide information about high / low NCR area to Marketing
- Analyze MIS for UBS and profitability reports, exception reports on critical matter and suggest improvement measures
- Analyze RMC plant profitability for raw margin, contribution, ROCE, VACC etc. and highlight loss making plant and its performance for necessary action on closure
- Review logistics cost , compare with budget, previous month / year and savings achieved
- Stock reconciliation of plant wise / depot wise / grade wise cement quantity
- Valuation of closing stock lying in godown/rail heads/in transit
- Analysis of historical trends and rates of various specific operational parameters to identify improvement opportunity in cement business
- To check and analyze variance in zonal budget v/s actual working capital and recommend actions
- Ensure budget adherence for UBS business , month on month review of budgeted and actual parameters, framing & calculation of various schemes and control on margin distributions
Contributes to and is responsible for preparing / evaluating proposals of new RMC plants including ensuring legal compliances and submitting the same to the Management for their approval
- Based on the inputs from sales & marketing team , prepare proposals of new dedicated RMC plants, defining all SLAs and legal compliances and submit to the management for evaluation and approval
- Based on the inputs from sales & marketing team, prepare proposals of new contract manufacturing Dry Mix Plant, defining all SLAs and legal compliances and submit to the management for evaluation and approval
Contributes to and is responsible for the analysis / approval of logistics proposals, vendor dependencies and logistics budget management
- Examine the PTPKM rates on cost assumption model, resulting in optimization of logistics cost
