About the Role: Position Summary

This role will be primarily responsible for the security of applications, cloud, systems, customers and vendors across the departments.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build and implement SDLC program
• Perform Threat Modelling and Design Review for security standards
• Conduct periodic penetration testing (automated and manual)
• Lead code reviews (automated and manual)
• Build new tooling for security initiatives
• Develop security best practices
• Be the subject matter expert for security related topics

Educational Qualification

DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATION

• BS/MS Computer Science or equivalent knowledge and experience
• Infrastructure and/or application security experience
• Expert knowledge in software, computer, and network security
• Extensive knowledge of the OWASP Top 10 and CWE Top 25
• Experience in exploiting web and web services security vulnerabilities including cross-site scripting, cross site request forgery, SQL injection, DoS attacks, XML/SOAP, API attacks, and more.
• Experience in software development, Java, Python, Ruby, or other relevant languages
• A hackers mindset

NECESSARY KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

• Strong understanding of applied cryptography
• In-depth knowledge of micro services and application security
• In-depth understanding of Linux (Ubuntu)
• Extensive experience with Burp Suite
• Proven track record of finding and explaining difficult security issues
• Experience with Kubernetes
• Strong communication and consulting skills
