The company produces various types of cables, including Optical Fiber cables, Aerial Cables, Micro ducts, Hybrid category cables, FTTH/Drop Cables, Jelly Filled Copper cables, Aerial Copper cables, Duct Copper cables etc. UM Cables Limited offers FRP Rods ranging from 0.5mm to 3.5mm in diameter, available in both coated and uncoated types.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Production Engineer located in Dadra and Nagar Haveli, India. The Production Engineer will be responsible for the day-to-day tasks associated with producing high-quality optical fiber cable, telecommunication cable, Fiber Reinforced Plastic Rod (FRP), and Impregnated Glass Fiber Roving.
Qualifications
- Production Engineering and Production Planning skills
- Analytical Skills and Quality Control skills
- Excellent Communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Understanding of fiber optic cable production processes
- Diploma in electronics and telecommunication engineering
- Experience in the production of optical fiber cable or related products is a plus
