- As a Software Test Automation Engineer, your role is to write scripts and create automation environments for repeated tests
- You will design, test, and deploy effective test automation solutions using different automation tools
- Your goal is to automate as much of the testing effort as possible with a minimum set of code
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Previous experience as a test automation engineer.
- Excellent mathematical and problem-solving skills.
- Highly accurate and detail-oriented.
- 5+ years of hands-on quality assurance work with web-based applications
- Experience testing web/eCommerce applications constructed using modern web frameworks such as React, node, typescript, and related technologies
- Familiarity with emerging web platform best practices, including progressive web applications, service workers, network optimization, and performance optimization
- Excellent Java programming and debugging skills, including experience with test automation tools and libraries such as Selenium, TestNG, Jest, and JMeter
- Secure API testing experience
- Selenium (or similar robust toolkit) testing experience
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Engineering degree in Computer science/ software development, or similar.
- 58 years Prior experience automation test engineer.
- Continuous Integration tools - Jenkins, Bit bucket, Github JIRA - Defect tracking and task creation tool
- Advanced proficiency in Java.
- A flair for creating well-presented software that is technically sound.
- Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Self-driven, flexible, and innovative.
