Job Overview We are seeking a talented and creative SEO Content Writer to join our dynamic marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating engaging and search engine optimized content that not only captivates our audience but also enhances our online visibility. The SEO Content Writer will play a crucial role in driving organic traffic and improving our search engine rankings through strategic content creation.
Key Responsibilities - Content Creation:
- Produce high-quality, SEO-friendly content for various digital platforms, including blogs, website pages, social media, and Open and familiar to use of AI tools for generation and human editing/rewriting for final use
- Conduct thorough research to stay informed about industry trends and incorporate relevant keywords into content to enhance search engine visibility.
- Keyword Research:
- Conduct keyword research to identify valuable and relevant terms for target audiences.
- Implement on-page SEO strategies by seamlessly integrating keywords into content to improve organic search rankings. Be familiar with use of Shopify blog tools and implementation of on-page seo on the website.
- Content Optimization:
- Edit and optimize existing content to ensure it aligns with current SEO best practices and maintains relevance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement SEO recommendations and strategies.
- Analytics and Reporting:
- Monitor and analyze website performance using SEO tools and Google Analytics.
- Provide regular reports on content performance, suggesting improvements and optimizations based on data-driven insights.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with the marketing team, designers, andSEO agencies, tech teamsto ensure content aligns with overall marketing goals and brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather insights and information for content creation.
- Reach out to relevant folks in the ecosystem to build off-page back-linked content for the brand
Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an SEO Content Writer or similar role.
- Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Familiarity with SEO tools such as SEMrush, Moz, or Ahrefs.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Creative thinking and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Preferred Skills - Experience with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress.
- Basic HTML and CSS knowledge.
- Knowledge of the latest trends and updates in SEO and content marketing.
- Certifications in SEO or Content Marketing would be a plus.
