Job Summary

The Manager, Corporate Action department, require strong leadership skills, attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The Corporate Action Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth execution of corporate actions, maintaining regulatory compliance, and driving operational excellence within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

1. Corporate Action Processing:

Manage the end-to-end processing of corporate actions, including New Fund Offers, dividends, mergers, acquisitions, stock splits, and other events, ensuring timely and accurate execution in compliance with regulatory requirements and client instructions. 2. Risk Management:

Assess and mitigate risks associated with corporate actions, including market risks, operational risks, and regulatory risks, by implementing robust controls, procedures, and oversight mechanisms. 3. Client Engagement:

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding corporate action processing, addressing inquiries, providing guidance, and ensuring alignment with client expectations and preferences. 4. Stakeholder Coordination : Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including mutual fund companies, regulatory bodies, custodians, and technology partners, to coordinate corporate action activities and facilitate seamless execution. 5. Regulatory Compliance:

Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry developments impacting corporate actions, ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies to mitigate compliance risks and ensure client trust. 6. Technology Integration:

Work closely with the technology team to enhance corporate action processing capabilities, optimize system workflows, and leverage automation solutions to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability. 7. Performance Monitoring:

Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to corporate action processing, such as timeliness, accuracy, and client satisfaction metrics, and implement measures to address performance gaps and improve service quality. 8. Team Leadership:

Lead and mentor a team of corporate action professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Skills & Qualifications:

1. Education:

Hold a bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, or a related field. 2. Experience:

Accumulate 5+ years of experience in the BFSI sector, specializing in mutual fund operations and transaction processing. 3. Leadership:

Demonstrate proven leadership skills in managing top-tier teams. 4. Skills: a.

Analytical Expertise: Possess advanced analytical and problem-solving prowess. b.

Interpersonal and Communication Abilities: Exhibit outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on relationship building and collaboration. c.

Technology Proficiency: Showcase proficiency in BFSI-relevant technology and automation tools. d.
