Ensuring the achievement of planned objectives of revenues, costs, returns and controls through effective Logistics' management.
Work towards reducing pilferage, implement policies across hospitals to reduce cost and increase profitability, ensure adherence of these policies through regular checks and audits.
Ensuring Logistics' function efficiency and developing and delivering solutions for the logistics' function
Formulation of a plan based on the logistics' goals and targets.
Development of resource requirements and budgets against the supply plan.
Planning and implementing methods, systems and processes for leveraging cost and maximizing efficiency in carrying costs and warehousing and optimizing inventory costs.
Effectively delivering customer value by matching sales delivery profitably.
Preparing/reviewing annual budget for the department and ensuring adherence to the same.
Determining the shelf life of specific items and implementing systems for choosing usage and minimizing wastage.
Motivating and developing the team through effective coaching, performance management and training.
SPECIFIC SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS
Required knowledge: The candidate should have knowledge of Logistics' management and vendor development, knowledge of materials management – inventory control functions, knowledge of market scenario and industry practices & knowledge of concerned materials – storage, properties, shelf-life and handling conditions.
Required skills: The candidate should have good communication skills and be computer literate; must possess effective organizational and follow-up skills, ability to multi task and prioritize, with good attention to detail.
