ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
● Installing, configuring, and maintaining Windows and Unix/Linux operating systems on
servers and workstations.
● Managing user accounts, permissions, and access control on Windows Active
Directory and Unix/Linux systems.
● Configuring and managing Group Policies to enforce security settings, software
deployments, and other configurations across a network.
● Ensuring that Windows servers and workstations are regularly updated with security
patches and hotfixes.
JOB DESCRIPTION
● Installing, updating, and removing software packages using package management
tools
● Managing Windows servers, including tasks such as setting up and maintaining file
servers, web servers, and application servers.
● Implementing backup solutions and disaster recovery plans to protect data and ensure
business continuity.
● Managing file systems, disk partitions, and storage devices on Unix/Linux servers and
Writing and maintaining shell scripts to automate repetitive tasks and system
administration tasks.
● Diagnosing and resolving issues with Windows systems and Unix/Linux, applications,
and services.
● Configuring network settings, such as IP addresses, routing, and firewall rules, on
Unix/Linux systems.
● Monitoring system performance and making optimizations to improve efficiency and
reliability.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Work experience and educational background that a candidate should have when applying
for the position

● Years of Exp.: 3 - 5+years of relevant experience.
