Key Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a team of motion graphics designers and animators, providing guidance, feedback, and support to foster professional growth and development. Collaborate with creative directors, producers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements, objectives, and deadlines. Manage the workflow and allocation of resources within the motion graphics team, ensuring that projects are assigned appropriately and completed efficiently. Review project briefs, scripts, and storyboards to ensure clarity, feasibility, and alignment with client expectations. Oversee the creation of storyboards, style frames, and animatics to visualize concepts and guide the animation process. Provide creative direction and input on visual elements, animation techniques, and design aesthetics to ensure the highest level of quality and creativity in motion graphics projects. Ensure consistency in design, branding, and messaging across all motion graphics deliverables. Collaborate with other teams, including video production, editing, and sound design, to integrate motion graphics seamlessly into audio-visual projects. Stay updated on industry trends, software advancements, and best practices in motion graphics design and animation. Serve as a point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, providing updates, and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle. Conduct regular performance evaluations, set goals, and provide constructive feedback to team members to enhance performance and productivity. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages creativity, innovation, and excellence. Educational Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in graphic design, motion graphics, animation, or related field. In-depth knowledge of AV equipment, technology, and production processes. Proven track record of leadership and management experience in a motion graphics production environment. Extensive experience with industry-standard software such as Adobe After Effects, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Premier, Adobe Animate and Photoshop. Strong understanding of animation principles, typography, color theory, and composition. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality work. Passion for creativity, storytelling, and pushing the boundaries of motion graphics design. Knowledge of audio editing and sound design is a plus. Leadership qualities including adaptability, decisiveness, and resilience.Job tags
