We are seeking a talented Graphic Designer to join our Digital Marketing team. The Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating visually appealing and impactful designs for various digital channels, including websites, social media, email campaigns, display ads, videos and more. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing creativity, technical proficiency, and a passion for delivering high-quality visual content that aligns with brand objectives and engages target audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design Creation:
- Develop visually stunning and compelling designs for digital marketing campaigns, including but not limited to social media graphics, website banners, email templates, display ads, infographics, and landing pages.
- Collaborate with Copywriters, Marketers, and other team members to conceptualize and execute creative campaigns and content ideas.
- Ensure all designs adhere to brand guidelines, style standards, and project requirements.
- Digital Asset Production:
- Create and optimize graphics and images for use across various digital platforms, ensuring optimal display and performance.
- Resize and adapt designs for different screen sizes and resolutions, maintaining visual integrity and usability.
- Prepare files for web and print production, following best practices for file formats, color profiles, and resolution.
- Brand Consistency:
- Maintain visual consistency and coherence across all digital marketing materials, ensuring alignment with brand identity and messaging.
- Work closely with the Marketing team to understand brand guidelines, campaign objectives, and target audience preferences.
- Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on visual branding matters as needed.
- Creative Ideation:
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and creative meetings to generate innovative ideas and concepts for digital campaigns and projects.
- Stay updated on design trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices, incorporating new techniques and approaches into design work.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Copywriters, Marketing Managers, Developers, and Product managers to deliver high-quality design solutions on time and within budget.
- Communicate design concepts, rationale, and feedback clearly and persuasively to internal stakeholders.
- Quality Assurance:
- Conduct thorough quality checks on all design deliverables to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to project requirements.
- Review designs for grammar, spelling, and visual errors before final approval.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related field.
- 5+ years of proven experience as a Graphic Designer, preferably in a B2C consumer internet startup
- Proficiency in graphic design software such as Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Experience in video editing and exposure to using AI tools for design is a plus
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of digital design projects and styles.
- Solid understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and composition.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Understanding of brand guidelines and the ability to maintain consistency in visual communication.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with a keen eye for aesthetics and design excellence.
- Familiarity with HTML/CSS and web design principles is a plus.
