Job Summary

Senior Fellows are the secret sauce of our success recipe. They use in-depth knowledge of the industry and AI applications within the industry to design and craft masterpiece solutions for our clients and navigate each project to the finish line with absolute excellence and professionalism. The confluence of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the Automobile industrial sector has ignited a transformative era, reshaping every part of the value chain. This symbiotic relationship presents immense opportunities for both domains, demanding a deeper understanding of the intricate connections and collaborative possibilities.

Senior Fellow in this industry, possess knowledge and experience in applying AI/ML methodologies to build solutions within some of the following subfields:

• Autonomous Driving: systems that enable vehicles to navigate environments and make real-time decisions independent of human input by consuming vast datasets of sensor data (cameras, LiDAR, radar)
• Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS): systems that provide real-time assistance and enhance driver safety by analyzing sensor data and intervening when necessary (adaptive cruise control, emergency braking, etc)
• Predictive Maintenance: predicting and preventing potential vehicle failures before they occur by analyzing vast datasets from sensors and historical service records.
• Connected Car Services: systems that improve car experience and facilitate seamless interaction (hands-free, NLP-powered voice assistant) and provide personalized services (route recommendation and optimization)
• Manufacturing Optimization: Creating Machine learning algorithms that analyze complex production data to identify inefficiencies, predict potential defects, and optimize resource allocation, leading to increased efficiency, reduced waste, and improved product quality.

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Fellow, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Work with business leaders to identify problems that can be resolved using artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies
• Actively participate in pre-sales activities to demonstrate our capabilities and relevant use cases and understand client's needs and problems
• Participate in the Discovery phase of a project to uncover real needs and possibilities, specify in detail the scope of the project, and use domain expertise to propose architecture for solutions
• Provide accurate time and resource estimates for a project and define the major milestones
• Identify potential risks and challenges on a project and how to overcome them
• Act as a subject matter expert on projects to navigate them across the finish line while ensuring high-quality execution and deliverables
• Propose and participate in the selection of the team for a project
• Communicate and present to the client the progress of projects
• Ensure AI ethics and other SecOps principles are properly implemented on projects
• Contribute to the improvement of Xenon's assessment and delivery process
• Contribute to developing Xenon's domain capabilities, content, and competitiveness

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in AI roles or other relevant fields (AI, ML, Data Science)
• Deep experience in the Automobile industry and practical applications of AI/ML technologies in a number of its subfields
• Very strong technical skills in technologies relevant to the field, and a deep understanding of underlying concepts and mechanisms (math, algorithms, models, statistics) needed for producing optimal and performant solutions
• Proved experience in scoping, designing, and architecting complex and large-scale solutions, estimating milestones, timeframes, and resources accurately
• Proved experience in leading projects and teams to a successful outcome
• Strong business acumen and ability to influence key stakeholders to make informed decisions
• Strong communication and presentation skills to be able to distill complex information and concepts into clear messages that resonate with clients of various technical backgrounds
• Curious, creative, outgoing personality with wide horizons committed to success and inspired by excellence

Preferred Qualifications

• PhD in Artificial Intelligence domain (highly preferable)
• Background in Research activities and published papers
• Skills in writing domain-specific content e.g. whitepapers, blogs, etc.
