Technical Architect – Azure Native Cloud Experience: 12 to 15 years Location: Chennai B.E./ B.Tech. / MCA
Job Description Sopra Steria Microsoft CCoE is designed to support customers in their Microsoft activities and develop business opportunities for Delivery Units. The role requires 100% focus on Microsoft technologies and will work on projects with high added value and visibility in close proximity to Microsoft teams. Responsilbilities: Intervene on high value-added missions for our customers around Microsoft application solutions and domains Deploy the full value of Microsoft's platform to our customers and to organization's offerings Supporting the development of Microsoft know-how and skills. Participate in the Microsoft Expert Community Work closely with the publisher to develop new assets Candidate Profile: 12+ years of experience in Application Architecture and Development and 6+ years of experience on cloud technologies. Development of solutions ( Java, .Net, Python) and server-less computing (eg. Azure Functions , Azure App Service ). Hands-on experience with range of Azure services (VMs, VNet, Load Balancer, API Gateway etc. ) and container-based architecture Strong understanding of containerization technologies (AKS) Design / implementation of DevOps pipelines Experience working in a multi-cloud environment with demonstrated experience Hands On Experience on Cloud migration projects Should be able to understand the existing setup and in collaboration with application teams, review and identify candidate applications for cloud migration based on predefined application rationalization output of categorized applications Lead the discovery and assessment of on-prem application workloads to plan detailed migration Build detailed application migration solution and plans in collaboration with partners and other stakeholders Define appropriate migration strategy for each application (Rehost, Re-Platform, Rearchitect, etc.) while considering cost and complexity of the various options Experience in microservices architecture, cloud native design principles, network. Certifications on other HyperScalers or other Private Cloud are a plus. Must have an automation mindset to study/analyze the landscape and build/propose tools. Good interpersonal skills, diplomacy and adaptability. Ability to take discretion and committed sense of customer service are essential Fluent in English.Job tags
