Position Overview

As an Operations and Legal Manager, you'll oversee daily business activities, ensuring efficiency and compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Responsibilities include managing workflows, optimizing processes, and liaising with external lawyers to address legal matters. You'll play a key role in risk management, contract negotiation, and policy development to support the organization's operational and legal objectives. Strong organizational and legal acumen are crucial for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Performing sensitive in-house functions, such as, payments approval, commissions, sanity checks for payroll etc.
  • Project management of other compliance and legal functions, such as, contracts, ISO27001 etc.
  • Review legal contract and liaise with lawyers on legal matters.
  • Ensure that the company runs with legality and conformity to established regulations
  • Manage third party relationships including accountancy firms, lawyers. etc.
  • Ensures all systems are up to date and operational/financial metrics are produced in a timely manner.
  • Collaborating with sales and executives to strategize for business funnel readiness.
  • Collaborating with the finance team for revenue reconciliation and ensuring its direct alignment with the business objectives.
  • Liaising with external accountants to solve client queries related to invoicing
  • Your role extends to guaranteeing the company's adherence to regulations, up-to-date operational systems, and the production of timely financial and sales metrics

Required Skills

  • Good Knowledge of laws and contracts
  • Qualified or Semi-Qualified CS
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in Operations and Legal field
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software
  • Demonstrate strong reading comprehension and writing skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Excellent multitasking and organizational skills
