Job description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Design:

   • Develop creative and innovative architectural concepts that meet the client's requirements and budget.
   • Produce detailed drawings, plans, and specifications using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
   • Consider environmental impact, zoning regulations, and building codes in the design process.

2. Project Management:

   • Manage and coordinate the entire architectural project from conception to completion.
   • Collaborate with construction teams, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure the design is executed accurately and efficiently.
   • Monitor project timelines and budgets.

3. Client Interaction:

   • Consult with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and vision for the project.
   • Present design proposals and make adjustments based on client feedback.
   • Maintain strong communication throughout the project to keep clients informed and satisfied.

4. Technical Expertise:

   • Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and materials.
   • Ensure that designs comply with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.
   • Resolve technical issues and challenges that may arise during the design and construction phases.

5. Team Collaboration:

   • Work closely with a team of architects, designers, and other professionals.
   • Foster a collaborative and creative working environment.
   • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff members.

Qualifications:

1. Education:

   • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.

2. Experience:

   • Proven experience in architectural design and project management.
   • Familiarity with various construction methods and materials.

3. Skills:

   • Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant design tools.
   • Strong creativity and problem-solving skills.
   • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
   • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

4. Licensing:

   • State licensure as a registered architect is typically required.

5. Portfolio:

   • A strong portfolio showcasing previous projects and design capabilities.
