Responsibilities:
- Artist Acquisition:
- Identify and approach talented artists, musicians, and content creators to sign them to Alfan's audio products and services.
- Develop and maintain a strong network within the music industry to discover emerging talents and established artists.
- Negotiation and Sales:
- Utilize exceptional negotiation skills to secure favorable agreements with artists, ensuring mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Collaborate with the legal team to draft and finalize contracts, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Drive sales and revenue growth through effective artist signings and ongoing relationship management.
- Industry Understanding:
- Stay abreast of trends, developments, and key players in the music industry.
- Analyze market dynamics and competitor activities to identify opportunities and challenges.
- Relationship Management:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with artists, fostering a positive and collaborative environment.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of artist-related initiatives.
- Promotion and Marketing:
- Work closely with marketing teams to create compelling promotional strategies for signed artists.
- Implement marketing initiatives to maximize the visibility and success of artists within Alfan's audio products.
Qualifications:
- 3 to 5 years of proven experience in business development within the music industry, with a focus on signing artists.
- In-depth understanding of the music industry landscape, including trends, key players, and emerging artists.
- Exceptional negotiation and sales skills, with a track record of successful artist signings.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with legal aspects of artist contracts and agreements.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
