Job Summary: To implement and drive growth of Distribution Sales (through Channel partners) and Direct Sales of Power Tools & Industrial Lifting business in the assigned territory.

Location: Chennai

Responsibilities:

  1. Account planning & execution using available CRM tools.
  2. Manage enquiry pipeline, booking forecast and generate new opportunities for profitable growth.
  3. Review channel partner’s performance on monthly basis & make necessary changes in plan as & when required to ensure consistent monthly order booking against the assigned target.
  4. Evaluate performance of existing Channel Partners & appoint new Channel Partners to cover the white spaces.
  5. Develop, expand and sustain healthy and strategic relationship with Customers.
  6. Product Demo / trials sessions/Tech days to be regularly conducted to promote our products.
  7. Understand customer requirement as per applications & arrange to submit the Techno-commercial proposals accordingly.
  8. Collaborate with internal teams of sales support, including customer experience team, Project Management and other cross functions in order to meet customers’ expectations.
  9. Explore business opportunities by identifying prospective customers and evaluating their position in the industry.
  10. Get information about competition initiatives and seek support from internal stakeholders to counter competition.
  11. Facilitate to resolve issues and improve Customer Satisfaction Experience.
  12. Support in account receivables

KPI's

  1. Achievement of Booking & Revenue targets.
  2. Generate weekly enquiries by joint visit to customers with channel partner.
  3. Increase in foot print expansion by adding new channel partners/customers and increase business from the existing customers.
  4. Drive & grow business for the new products.
  5. Ensure sufficient opportunities in pipeline, reduced forecast deviation & increased win rate.
  6. Review the win rate of channel partners against submitted quotes every month. 
  7. Month on month booking achievement as per the AOP target.

Skills Required


1. Bachelor or preferably Master in Mechanical /Mechatronics Engineering. MBA will be an added advantage.
2. 10-12 years relevant experience in selling Industrial products/projects & Indirect Sales (Channel Sales) especially in Motor Vehicle & General Industries.
3. Strong knowledge about the Customer spread in the territory. 

4. Excellent interpersonal, relationship building, presentation & communication skills
5. Result oriented & self-driven.
6. Proficient in MS Office : MS-Word , MS excel , PPT

7. Integrity and Ownership mindset

8. Good at data analysis.

8. Willing to travel for around 50% of the time
