Job description
Designation: Senior Accounting OfficerExperience: 05-15 Years and above in Educations & IndustryJob Description:1. Record and maintain all entries of day-to-day business transactions such as sales,purchases, payments, receipts, purchase orders/work orders, etc.2. Ensure bank accounts are kept up to date by posting day-to-day transactions.3. Maintain all records and files in an organized manner.4. Review and record all expenses, keeping track of expenses on a monthly basis.5. Prepare monthly GST/TDS data and file GST/TDS returns on time.6. Perform any other tasks assigned by the Reporting Manager.7. Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements8. Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles9. Coordinate and complete annual audits10. Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions11. Meet financial accounting objectives12. Establish and maintain files and records to document transactions.13. Establishes internal controls and guidelines for accounting transactions and budgetpreparation.14. Oversees preparation of business activity reports, financial forecasts, and annualbudgets.Required Candidate profile:1. CA and CS professionals with 5+ years of progressively responsible experience and astrong interest in accounting concepts2. Knowledge of accounting principles and practices, analysis and reporting of financial data3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong analytical and problem-solvingskills. Commitment to take full ownership and accountability of his/her area ofresponsibility.4. Competency in Microsoft Office (SharePoint, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)5.
