Role Summary : (a) Title : Devops Architect - Payment Systems (b) Business/Function : Payment System (c) Band / Designation : Sr. Manager - SDLC DevOps (d) Location : Hyderabad (e) Reports to : DVP (f) Team : Project - Payment System (g) Summary: - Automation-first mindset and hands-on in primary knowledge for design patterns of development- Proficiency in design and architecture implementation of in-premise models of deployment- Deep understanding of DevOps framework, tools and metrics for build, test and deployment automation- Configuration Management, scalable mode of infrastructure deployment and best practices- Able to assess the existing maturity of client in Cloud and DevOps space, perform gap analysis and provide baseline solution- Creating suitable DevOps channels across the organization.- Establishing continuous build environments to speed up software development across multiple projects and guiding development team- Enable the development process and related operations,Identifying setbacks and shortcomings and come up with solutions.- Configuration Management tool (Ansible/Puppet/Salt)- Containerized deployment and orchestration- Infra deployment tool (Python, Terraform, CF)- CI/CD (Groovy pipelines)- Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring and Testing Techniques.- Previous Application Development (Java/.Net) or System Administration experience (Linux, Windows, DBA, Storage, Networking)- Can create system architecture documentation, work/feature-breakdown structure document and other related artifacts with deep technical details- Strong experience with project management methodologies and frameworks (Waterfall, Scrum, Kanban)- Able to perform client-facing technical consultancy roles, contribute to knowledge base, work in Team Lead role for small-medium sized teams, etc Position Code : Additional Information :Responsibilities : - Solution design from functional, non-functional, technical and low level solutioning including SOP, blueprint Preparation for various projects under payment domain- Good Solution architect for various required project under payment domain,- Secuirty assessment and constant evalution over period of time including conducting audit and ensuring compliance of the same.- Continous Design, development and intergration- Validation and verification of solution and confirmation.- Ability to conduct independent R & D on various Payment System designs and architectures. - Effectively oversee project staff, managing shifts and effeictively delegating work to team with proper follow-ups and guidance till closure.- Ability in ensuring the necessary risk assessments are being continually reviewed, monitored and proactively addressed in a timly fashion.- Involvement while working very closely with the Project support teams towards resolution of the technical issues.- Provide supervision for all the requests received by the department, and effectively manage the deliverables withing set timelines. - To ensure completeness of root cause for major/critical incidents, and where possible resolve or provide workarounds, suggestions and improvements to avoid future incidents.- To ensure applications/software environments are fully maintained with appropriately supported updates, patches and/or service packs in line with system maintenance policies Requirements :Education : BE./ B.Tech/M.Tech/M.C.A/M.Sc (Computer Science) Experience : Primary Technology :- Kubernetes, Docker- Shell/PERL/Python/Groovy scripting, Go Language- Prometheus, Graphana, ElasticSearch- Letsencrypt- Terraform, Ansible- Understanding of private cloud managementWork Experience :- Atleast 5 yrs of relevant experience in Devops implementation (Support experience is not considered)- 10 to 15 years of overall experience in IT (software development, testing, software design etc) - Strong experience in installation of containerized Microservices based applications- Strong knowledge on Kubernetes - Experience in installing and managing installing Kubernetes- Strong understanding of Docker- Hands-on with system administration, application installation and management Certifications : - Certified Devops Architect- DevOps Professional Certification- Docker Certified Associate- Certified Kubernetes Administrator Knowledge : Kubernetes, Jenkins, Docker, Helm and other opensource technologies, complete CI/CD pipeline for a project and well aware of the monitoring mechanism of the servers. Technical Skills : Primary Mandatory Skills : Jenkins, Ansible, Shell scripting, GIT and Microsoft Azure.CI/CD infrastructure and toolsAdditional Desirable skill :IBM MQ, Oracle/SQL, Unix Scripts, AIX/Linux understanding, Apache Tomcat and Advance Java, Spring & Hibernate framework, API, any IDE, Restful services,Oper source technologies (ref:hirist.tech)
