Job description

A Gas Attendant, also known as a Petrol Pump Attendant or Fuel Station Attendant, is responsible for ensuring that vehicles are fuelled up quickly and safely at petrol stations. They greet customers and assist them in refuelling their vehicles, and may also sell items such as snacks, drinks, and car accessories. Gas Attendants must be knowledgeable about the different types of fuels available, and ensure that customers purchases are accurately measured and charged. In addition, they may be responsible for maintaining the petrol stations facilities, including cleaning the restrooms and the forecourt. Safety is a top priority for Gas Attendants, as they must follow strict procedures to prevent fires and accidents while handling flammable fuels.
