About the Position We are seeking to hire a passionate DevOps Engineer to build and maintain features for our flagship Platform. With the use of AI technology, the Platform is revolutionizing the way customer-facing personnel learn and are coached, dramatically improving performance. The successful candidate will use their experience with Software Engineering and use multiple technology stacks to design, build, maintain and test new and existing features to improve the platform. Responsibilities: The company is looking for a DevOps-Engineer, who is passionate about providing world-class development tooling solutions. As part of the Development Tools team, you’ll help us achieve our mission of enabling Our client development teams to bring apps to market more reliably and more often through the use of the best possible DevOps tools and processes. Basic Requirements: ● 3+ Years of working experience as a software engineer, preferably in commercial cloud service product development ● Strong architecture skills in designing software solutions for complex problems ● Deep knowledge and experience in the full life cycle of software development. Strong Agile experience working in Scrum ● DevOps (CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes) Experience ● Experience with Infrastructure as a code. Example: Ansible, Terraform ● Experience and knowledge in relational database technologies ● Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skill in complex multi-tier distributed system environment ● Experience in DevOps environment with a deep understanding of operation excellence ● Deep understanding of Linux, networking, application performance, automation, and auto-scaling ● Solid understanding of different cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure & Amazon AWS cloud ● Experience with web server tools like Nginx, Apache, etc ● Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills. Comfortable with direct customer and executive communication. ● Knowledge of fintech enterprise application products is highly desirable Preferred Qualifications: ● Leading individual projects/subprojects. ● Computer Science degree from a selective university. ● Experience in iterative/agile development practices. Exposure to working in a global delivery team. Comfortable direct interaction with business users at all levels. ● Solve interesting and complex support issues for a mid-size internal developer community. ● Work with systems teams (DBAs, Linux/Windows, Network, Storage) to troubleshoot incidents related to the applications. ● Help ensure our self-hosted tools are up-to-date, secure, and performant. ● Deploy and maintain our tools in AWS using tools like Terraform and CloudFormation. ● Develop DevOps best practices (focusing on cloud deployment) and work with individual teams to take the best advantage of our tools. ● Create and maintain a robust knowledge base to enable other teams. ● Project work to improve and extend our toolset and move to 100% SaaS automation on AWS.
