are hiring for a

Sr. Business Analyst / Scrum Master (Insurance/Banking)

to expand our team, this is a Remote role. You will work across various Innovecture client teams and apply your technical expertise to some of the most complex and challenging technology problems. Responsibilities:

• Understands business and technology environments, application, and process capabilities. • Working experience on how to write User stories using Gherkin in JIRA and manage the requirements in Confluence. • Work with the Development team to build automation tests. • Collaborates with Development team and Technical Product Owner to ensure all the stories planned are completed and meets the sprint goal. • Working experience on creating Business Process Flow diagrams. • Develops User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Test Plans, coordinates, and participates in UAT process. • Coordinates groups of business personnel who test, evaluate, and validate new functions and applications, and identify issues in software or services. • Ensures that all items follow the change management process and are entered and tracked through the change management software. • Ensures issues are identified, tracked, reported on, and resolved in a timely manner. Obtains final signoff from all the relevant stakeholders for production release. • Communicates needed changes discovered in UAT to Technical Product Owner and development team. • Coordinates interactions with the impacted and involved business, management and technical areas, keeps the Scrum Team on target, and focused. • Tracking of bug reports and change requests, ensuring their timely resolution. • Other project duties as assigned.

Qualifications: • Degree plus related IT field work experience. • Proven communication skills (written and verbal) in working with management, clients, and technological experts. • Proven ability to develop, document and maintain operational policies and procedures, including the designing and documenting detailed process flows. • Solid understanding of existing and emerging industry practices, and ability to evaluate alternative business solutions. • Experience of database and system designs, systems, and application interfacing and Agile (Scrum) development methodology preferred. • Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word, Excel, Visio, Outlook, JIRA and Confluence. • Experience with Insurance Industry is a huge plus.
