Job description

• Maintain our platform versions & update center

The update center is a custom built tool for doing deployments into the Transporeon data center, used by various teams.
• service catalog and update planner
• standard Spring Boot Java apps with database and server-side HTML template and Svelte frontend
• main users: Devs in the UI, Cloud Infra application deployment via API
• impact in case of error: no more self-service updates for devs possible (80 people) but Cloud Infra can help manually
• volatility: pretty much feature complete, sometimes changes necessary caused by changes on Cloud Infra side
• Supporting / maintaining other business systems

For the start mainly Jira/Helpcenter topics
Needed Preferable Skills
• JQL, SQL Database basic (select, update, delete)
• Python coding
• Windows Server (Active Directory, Services,RDP)
• MS Office (Excel)
• Encoding & Time-zones
• Rest request (Postman)
• JSON, XML, HTML
• Syslog analyze
• Network: IP, DNS, Proxy and Firewall basics

Eligibility Criteria
• 3+ years of experience in relevant field
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field
