Job description
Your role & responsibilities: The Secure Authentication Service ensures different methods of authentication tailored to fit the current IT Infrastructure and Workplace environment requirements. The Service is based upon a stack of applications that secure identity verification based upon SingleSignOn, Privileged Access Management and Multi Factor Authentication framework. As an Operations Specialist for the Service you will be part of the Service Delivery team of which the main role is to take care for the smooth daily operation and administration of the specific Service modules. Overly the tasks include but are not limited to: Maintenance of Service components and its infrastructure:
Health status check, performance and capacity monitoring Performing maintenance activities and participating in planned changes, Event log analysis, reacting to abnormalities and configuration fine tuning Implementation of additional service monitoring Identification of capacity bottlenecks based upon experience and the available tools Management, Security and Compliance: Executing regular tasks with accordance to existing documentation and ensuring its up-to-dateness including creation of missing Ensuring application compliance with security and vendor recommendations Collaboration and process adherence: Troubleshoot incoming Incidents relating to the platform itself and the implementations running on top, Liaising with the Subject Matter Experts, External Support, Service Stakeholders and Customers on requests Participating in platform new releases, functionality extensions and development implementations within, contributing to tests, support take-overs as well as training others Working with accordance to latest IT processes recommendations, goals and with a Continuous Service Improvement anchor in mind. Your skills & strengths: A successful Service Operator should have a understanding of authentication methods like: SSO, MFA, 2FA, TOTP. Additionally, they should have a strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment. Specifically they are expected to bring in a fair combination of understanding and experience in the following technologies/concepts/products: Identity provider solutions Windows and Linux server administration CyberArk PAS, WMWare Workspace One Access, NetIQ Basics of Microsoft M365 products support RestAPIJob tags
