Job description
Role responsibility:
Work as part of cross functional team developing and implementing UI and/or API automation in an Agile environment Develop a deep understanding of the business context under which your team operates and present feature recommendations. Develop and maintain functional test scripts from provided functional and technical designs. Review automation results, debug failures and suggest changes to frameworks, as needed Track and report defects in an agile development environment Reports discrepancies and analyzes them to determine the root causes. Compares and analyzes system behavior vs. expected results/KPIs based on business and technical requirements. Identifies issues, proposes system improvements and performs repetitive test execution to resolve identified issues. Perform project tasks and solve problems with little or no assistance and guidance Good understanding on SDLC, STLC process, CI/CD and Quality Assurance methodologies. Good exposure towards preparing and reviewing Test Design, Test Strategy, Test cases and other testing related artifacts. Good hands on experience with working on Core Java. Hands-on experience on developing Test automation frameworks for Web applications with tools like Selenium Webdriver, Selenide, TestNG etc Experience working with APIs - SOAP/REST services and Backend testing frameworks using industry automated tools such as SoapUI, Postman, rest assured, JMeter etc. Experience with version control system such as GitLab Knowledge of relational databases, preferably Oracle and able to write SQL queries. Good understanding and experience with agile software development methodologies Technical documentation Travel, as required.
