Job Summary

If you are seeking a career in Supplier Development, then Emerson has a great opportunity for you! Based in India, the Assistant Manager - Supplier Development will support Isolation Valves business by improving the Supply Chain performance from a Cost, Speed, Delivery and Cash perspective. The position will be responsible for assessing and developing the suppliers to enable them to deliver the level of performance required by our customers and work directly with suppliers using Perfect Execution concepts and structured problem solving to implement improvement programs. They will also collaborate with Product Supply Chain Leaders, Buyers, Material Managers and Quality and optimize the current supplier base by implementing supplier consolidation, localization project initiatives aiming to focus business to the best suppliers only and making recommendation for new sources and innovation.
