Job description
The role is responsible for the full life cycle management of creating and maintaining websites using Magento framework. Responsible for gathering requirements, designing and developing websites per specifications, and providing the necessary maintenance after going into production. Also, responsible for Code review of other developers and merge PR on server.
Job Accountabilities 1. Back-end development and maintenance of global Magento instance. Manage multiple Magento websites and storefronts. Implement Magento themes and develop additional CSS pages as needed. Development and / or selection and integration of robust and user-friendly Magento extensions. 2. Utilize developer tools such as REST, Zend, GIT, bitbucket, SVN etc. effectively. Code review and Merge PR on various servers. 3. SQL Server T-SQL development and maintenance. Design, create and program SQL Server databases per project needs. Create and update SQL queries for better performance. 4. Manage cloud server for Magento and website DNS settings 5. Create and manage integrations between Magento and various interfaces such as payment gateways, shipping, CRM (SFDC and Marketo), web content, and SQL product information manager. 6. Manage project tasks, timelines, and communication. Communicate project status and deliverables with internal customers. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS 1. master’s degree in computer science/information science or equivalent work experience and training. 2. Experience with OOP Development Practices, solid understanding of web application development processes, from the layout/user interface to relational database structures. 3. 6 to 10 years of full-stack Magento web development, combined with PHP, HTML 5, XHTML, XML, AJAX, JQuery, JavaScript, CSS, MVC Architecture, Software version control using Git. 4. Strong organization skills to manage multiple timelines and complete tasks quickly within the constraints of clients’ timelines and budgets. 5. Solid knowledge of MySQL, SQL Server 6. Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of internal/external contacts. 7. Experience in Magento multi-store, multi-lingual, or multi-currency e-commerce implementations. 8. Experience with advanced integrations (ERP, SQL database, etc.) into Magento. 9.
