Job Overview:
This role is responsible for conducting data analysis to improve supply chain operations and support supply planning processes. The role is instrumental for the implementation of policies and procedures to increase efficiency and reduce costs across the supply chain.

 

Job Description:

 

70% Supply Planning:

· Data management (estimated 5-10% of time)

o Gather and analyze supply chain data. Ownership over Logility/ OMP-based Planning data, and stewardship over Logility/OMP and non-OMP planning data (with GBS counterparts)

· Troubleshooting & identifying gaps in input data/attributes for supply planning outputs/reports/scenarios for use within region teams

· Plan for and implement supply chain optimization policies

· Ownership of inventory target setting, monitoring work, and coordinates alignment with the regional CSP for Semi & FINI products. This includes refreshing the constrained and unconstrained targets, as well as the approval process of the refresh activity.

· Connection with Plant Planners/Finite Schedulers to troubleshoot plant constraints daily and ad-hoc basis

· Ownership over input & parameter accuracy for planning technology across all Supply capabilities

· Product Life Cycle Management ownership within all planning systems

· Continuous improvement mindset with regard to ongoing opportunities of all planning systems

· Responsible for generating Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for Supply Planning, including Supply Segmentation

 

 

10% Processes and Procedures

· Analyze data to identify problematic areas and suggest improvements

· Configure Planning system (Logility/OMP) to optimally reflect business strategy and business rules

· Validate system-driven activities and outputs after solvers run

· Performing ad-hoc supply segmentation assessments, including analyzing the segmentation standards and providing ongoing feedback to refresh/update.

 

20% Stakeholder Management:

· Provide analytical and data support to the supply planning lead (COE), concurrent supply planners, finite schedulers, and material planners (Region).

· Capture inventory and supply plan alerts and exceptions and triage for Concurrent Supply Planners, Finite Schedulers, and Material Planners

· Maintain and develop relationships with stakeholders, encourage and enhance cross function collaborations

 

Education:
· Minimum Degree Requirements: Bachelors

· Preferred Degree Requirements: Masters

· Preferred Major Area of Study: Operations

· Required Professional Certifications: N/A

· Preferred Professional Certifications: CSCMP, APICS

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
· 3-5 years of relevant experience in planning, forecasting process, basic operations, inventory planning, and statistical analysis

· Understanding of logistics and supply chain processes

· Familiarity with industry and business nuances

· Knowledge of GMI data inputs and sources of data

· Understanding of planning tools

· Ability to process and evaluate large data sets

· Usage of data process and visualization tools (e.g. Tableau)

· Effective communication skills

· Organizational ability and attention to detail
