Senior Embedded Firmware Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Firmware Engineer with extensive experience in the development of Qualcomm Wi-Fi chips and SDK, specifically 802.11ax chips like the Maple, Cypress, and HalkEye family. The ideal candidate will lead the firmware development efforts for our innovative Wi-Fi solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
● Lead the design, development, and maintenance of firmware for Qualcomm Wi-Fi chips, including the 802.11ax chips like Maple, Cypress, and HalkEye family.
● Debug and troubleshoot firmware-related issues in collaboration with the QA team.
● Write and maintain technical documentation for firmware development and testing processes.
● Continuously stay up to date with the latest firmware development trends, tools, and techniques.
Requirements:
● 6+ years of experience in developing firmware for Qualcomm Wi-Fi chips,
● Vast experience with Qualcomm 802.11ax chips families:
o Maple – 50xx. NSS CPU, Q6DSP CPU
o Cypress - 60xx
o HalkEye - 80xx
● In-depth knowledge of the Qualcomm Wi-Fi chip architecture and SDK. The Phy and MAC (Media Access Control) levels development
● Proven programming skills in C and C++.
● Embedded Linux programming experience
● Experience with firmware development tools and methodologies, like TDD, Jira, Git.
● Work independently and effectively as a remote contractor
● Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
