Job Purpose
- Ensures that the necessary Quality processes are implemented on a site in accordance with Group standards (GOPS) and standards certifications (ISO) and meet Client & Quality requirements.
Job Description MAJOR RESPONSIBILITY AREAS: - Review Supplier/Internal manufacturing records as per Part report / Project requirements & to ensure accuracy and timeliness of deliveries for mid-size site.
- Responsible for managing the quality activities & promote quality culture for the site. Assign work to a group of 10 to 12 members.
- Monitoring and analyzing quality performance metrics & Investigating customer complaints and non-conformances & Developing and coordinating root cause analysis and corrective action plans.
- Measure team performance( KPIs) and drive continual improvements. Participate in risk assessments for the process
- Developing training programs to increase quality awareness .
- Lead RCA & implement corrective actions.
- Manage and mentor team members, providing feedback, guidance, and training.
- Monitor work execution & work occupancy of the team.
Non-Essential Identify process standardization activities & process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce cost.
Implement new work scope or transitions & Best Practices.
Training Requirements TechnipFMC operating procedures, safety program, SAP, TCE and intranet systems.
Additional TechnipFMC training courses as outlined in the FMC India Training Matrix.
Key Interactions Internal : Quality Manager , Supplier Quality Manager , Supplier Quality Engineer , PQE , Manufacturing ,Procurement & Planning Manager.
External : Global Suppliers ,Client Quality Representatives, Inspection Coordinators.
You Are Meant For This Job If - Bachelor/Master of Engineering in Mechanical
- Basic understanding of Engineering practices, Knowledge in Quality Engineering, Manufacturing techniques, Heat treatment and Basic Material Engineering. Ability to read Supplier certificates/Documents , Quality Tools , RCA , Risk assessment & 3rd Party Inspections both Virtual & physical.
- 8+ years' experience .
Work Environment Office environment. Minimum exposure to hazard such as noise, temperature extreme etc.
Physical Demands Spends 90% of the time sitting and operating a computer or workstation. Spends 10% of time lifting, pushing and walking. Some climbing.
