Overview of business area or project: The CRCO Climate Risk Strategy (CRS) Programme is setup to drive Climate Risk agenda contributing to overall Net Zero initiative by CS. Key Responsibilities Climate Risk management workstream is looking for a risk manager. The role will work closely with risk managers, risk modellers, quant analysts and IT partners to perform data analysis. Candidate is expected to work on multiple and diverse topics in parallel hence good time management and organization skills are expected. Candidate is expected to build good network internally with other CS functions that will help him/her to Client required data. Candidate having experience in using Python/R or other visualization tools and creating data story to explain the insights to users will be added advantage. Overview of the department / team (team size, backgrounds, personalities …): The Climate Risk Strategy Program was mobilised in 2019 and has 2021 core objectives to: (i) Develop and roll out a sector-specific client strategy to encourage CS clients to transition to lower carbon models and protect CS from climate related risks; (ii) Set a target for reduction of financed emissions to achieve Net Zero by 2050 and monitor CS portfolios against target to honour commitment to SBTi and Net Zero Banking Alliance; (iii) Position CS to manage and mitigate climate related risks and address upcoming regulatory requirements. You will be working with Change experts having experience in data, architecture and project management covering CRO business processes and systems. You will also partner with Climate Risk management team, divisional CRO, Quant and data teams to build business solution meeting their requirements and overall goals of program Challenges Contractor Will Be Facing In This RoleJob tags
