Summary: As the Website Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing the development, maintenance, and optimization of our company's website. You will play a critical role in ensuring the website is user-friendly, visually appealing, and effectively promotes our products or services. The Website Manager will collaborate with various departments to implement updates, monitor performance metrics, and ensure the website remains up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies. Responsibilities: Website Development and Maintenance: Collaborate with web developers and designers to plan, develop, and launch new website features and functionalities. Regularly update website content, ensuring accuracy and relevance. Monitor and troubleshoot website issues, liaising with technical teams to resolve any technical or performance-related problems. Content Management: Create, edit, and optimize website content, ensuring it aligns with the company's branding, messaging, and marketing strategies. Implement and manage an editorial calendar to ensure a consistent flow of engaging content. Search Engine Optimization (SEO): Develop and implement SEO strategies to improve the website's organic search rankings and drive traffic. Conduct keyword research and optimize on-page elements to improve website visibility and performance on search engines. User Experience (UX) and Design: Analyse user behavior and feedback to optimize the website's user experience and overall design. Collaborate with designers to enhance website aesthetics, ensuring it aligns with current design trends and best practices. Performance Analysis and Reporting: Utilize website analytics tools to monitor performance metrics, track user behavior, and generate regular reports. Identify areas for improvement based on data analysis and suggest actionable recommendations to enhance website performance. Website Security and Compliance: Implement security measures to protect the website from potential threats and vulnerabilities. Ensure the website complies with relevant data protection and privacy regulations. Integration and Compatibility: Work with various platforms and tools to integrate third-party applications, plugins, and APIs to enhance website functionality. Team Collaboration: ยท Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and IT, to understand website needs and align strategies. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Web Design, Web Development, Marketing, or a related field. Proven experience as a Website Manager or similar role. Proficiency in website management platforms, content management systems (e.g., WordPress ), and web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics). Solid understanding of SEO best practices and web design principles. Familiarity with website security protocols and compliance standards. Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making abilities. Excellent communication and project management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
