Job Description:
As a Sales Development Representative, you will play a crucial role in generating new business opportunities by leveraging your knowledge in solution selling within the technology or product domain. Your primary goal will be to identify potential clients, understand their needs, and propose the right solutions to drive new client acquisition and sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:
· New Client Acquisition: Proactively generate daily leads and engage in pitching our cutting-edge solutions to new clients.
· Lead Generation: Consistently achieve daily quotas for customer reach and qualified potentials through effective calling strategies.
· Market Research: Source new sales opportunities in various industry segments such as Enterprise, Mid-market, and Startups by conducting extensive research and leveraging databases.
· Database Management: Create and maintain a comprehensive database of prospective clients, ensuring the information is validated and updated regularly.
· C-Level Engagement: Interact with C-Level executives (CTO, CEO, Founders, Presidents) using effective communication through calls and emails to understand their needs and propose suitable solutions.
· Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong, lasting relationships with potential and existing clients to foster trust and loyalty.
· Sales Opportunities Management: Assess client requirements accurately and route qualified opportunities to the appropriate Business Development Managers (BDMs) for further development and closure.
· Prospect Database Expansion: Consistently work on expanding your database of prospects through various strategies and keeping it up-to-date.
Qualifications:
· Proven experience in sales development, lead generation, or a similar role in the technology or product domain.
· Strong understanding of solution selling concepts and strategies.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with C-Level executives.
· Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales quotas.
· Proficiency in using CRM tools and databases for sales prospecting and management.
· Ability to conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify sales opportunities.
· Highly motivated, result-oriented, and possess a team player mentality.
· Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
