Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Account Receivable Specialist to join our finance team.
The ideal candidate will have years of proven experience in accounts receivable, demonstrating a strong understanding of financial processes, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
1. Billing and Invoicing:
ï'· Generate accurate and timely invoices for clients.
ï'· Ensure billing details are correct, and any discrepancies are resolved promptly.
ï'· Maintain a systematic record of invoices and supporting documentation.
2. Cash Application:
ï'· Efficiently process incoming payments, matching them with corresponding invoices.
ï'· Investigate and resolve discrepancies between received payments and outstanding
invoices.
ï'· Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
3. Collections:
ï'· Monitor overdue accounts and implement effective collection strategies.
ï'· Communicate with clients to address payment issues and negotiate repayment plans.
ï'· Escalate collection matters to management as necessary.
4. Financial Reporting:
ï'· Prepare and analyze accounts receivable aging reports.
ï'· Provide regular updates on the status of accounts to management.
ï'· Contribute to the preparation of financial reports as needed.
5. Customer Service:
ï'· Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries related to accounts
receivable.
ï'· Maintain positive relationships with clients to facilitate smooth financial transactions.
