Job description

Experience:

• 7-10 years in the pharmaceutical industry

Qualification:

• B. Tech / Diploma in Chemical engineering or
• M.Sc. in chemistry / Environment.
• Additionally, should have passed a diploma in industrial safety.

Responsibilities:

• Identify, develop and Implement of new EHS initiatives at site
• Review existing practices at site and identify gaps
• Harmonization of the EHS processes and system across all the sites and educate the sites about the same.
• Ensure EHS legal compliance monitoring and prepare regular update on status
• Implement measures to ensure zero accident at site
• Investigate all EHS events at site
• Implement CAPA across all sites
• Identify critical operations at site and implement control measures to avoid event
• Review hazop & risk assessments and suggest improvements
• Prepare and implement audit plan and auditing system for all sites
• Monitor audit compliance status

• Legal / Statutory authorities
• External auditing agencies

DESIRED SKILLS

• Experience in EHS department in pharmaceutical industry
• Excellent knowledge of relevant GMP and compliance
• Trouble shooting in effluent treatment system
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Good analytical skills to identify problems and suggest solution
• Hands on experience on statutory compliance
• Very good oral, written communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding, timeline-driven environment
• Innovative and creative mindset
