Overview
As a Senior Learning Experience Designer, you will play a key role in leading and elevating the creation of engaging and impactful learning experiences for the Customer & Compliance Organization (CCO). In this senior-level position, you will collaborate closely with subject matter experts and stakeholders to design and develop cutting-edge, learner-centric training programs. The ideal candidate will bring extensive expertise in instructional design principles, adult learning theory, and a deep understanding of emerging trends in learning technology.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities in this role include:
- Strategic Needs Analysis:
- Lead and guide L&D Business Partners in conducting comprehensive needs assessments to identify learning gaps and performance objectives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders at a strategic level to understand business goals and align learning initiatives with organizational objectives.
- Curriculum Design:
- Spearhead the development of comprehensive curriculum plans that strategically align with CCO goals and objectives.
- Design sophisticated instructional materials, including advanced e-learning modules, instructor-led materials, and cutting-edge multimedia content.
- Advanced Instructional Design:
- Apply advanced adult learning theories and leverage instructional design best practices to create highly effective and engaging learning experiences.
- Design and implement advanced assessments and evaluations to measure intricate learning outcomes and program effectiveness.
- Technology Integration:
- Maintain a leadership position in staying abreast of the latest learning technologies and tools to enhance and modernize learning experiences.
- Integrate advanced multimedia elements, simulations, and interactive components into training materials, pushing the boundaries of conventional design.
- Strategic Collaboration:
- Lead collaboration efforts with subject matter experts, trainers, and stakeholders to gather in-depth information and ensure the highest level of accuracy in content.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams at a senior level to ensure seamless alignment with overarching CCO strategies.
- Project Management:
- Demonstrate mastery in managing multiple complex projects simultaneously, ensuring the delivery of high-quality learning solutions within strict timelines.
- Track and report on project progress at a senior level, proactively addressing any challenges or roadblocks.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Drive the continuous improvement of learning programs by gathering and analyzing feedback from learners and stakeholders at an advanced level.
- Stay at the forefront of industry trends and best practices, integrating them strategically into the design process.
Qualifications
Desirable knowledge, skills & abilities:
- Recognized Qualification in Instructional Design, Learning Technology, or a related field.
- Extensive and proven experience in instructional design and curriculum development.
- Advanced proficiency in e-learning development tools such as Camtasia, Rise, Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar. Knowledge of other design tools is highly desirable.
- In-depth knowledge of accessibility standards for online learning materials.
- Advanced familiarity with gamification principles in learning design.
- Exceptional project management skills with a proven ability to meet and exceed deadlines.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated creative mindset with a focus on innovation in learning design at a senior level.
