Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled and passionate Continental Chef to join our team at Kruti Retail Ventures LLP. As a Continental Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a wide variety of continental dishes. This is a full-time position based in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 6 years of experience in continental cuisine in a similar role.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience as a Continental Chef or in a similar role
- Knowledge of continental cuisine and cooking techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent culinary and creative skills
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work well in a team
- Good communication and leadership skills
- Certification in Food & Production is a plus
- Experience working in a cafe or restaurant is preferred
- Experience as a DCDP or Commi is an advantage
Roles and Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of continental dishes according to the recipes and standards set by the company
- Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented in a timely manner
- Maintain high standards of food quality and hygiene
- Collaborate with other team members to plan and develop new menu items
- Manage kitchen operations, including inventory and stock control
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff
- Monitor and maintain kitchen equipment and utensils
- Comply with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work area
