Key Responsibility Areas:
Process Engineering:Lead the development and optimization of industrial processes, including analyzing, appraising, and conducting experimental tests to improve quality, cost, and efficiency.
Innovation and Best Practices:Identify and implement innovative solutions and best practices to enhance production and quality rates.
Process Documentation:Develop and manage process documentation and operating instructions, ensuring compliance with time and budget constraints.
Collaboration:Work closely with plant engineering disciplines, R&T, and customers to support new products and manufacturing technology platforms.
Performance Metrics:Develop and implement metrics to monitor and improve process performance.
New Product Development:partcipate in the development of new products, define manufacturing cost setups, and ensure high-quality standards throughout the development process.
Continuous Improvement:Drive continuous process improvement initiatives, including Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
Equipment and Layout:Design efficient equipment layouts and workspaces, install, troubleshoot, and design manufacturing equipment.
Production Procedures:Test and optimize both new and existing production procedures, focusing on quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
Workflow Management:Organize and manage manufacturing workflows and resources to maximize efficiency.
Process Assessment:Assess existing processes and troubleshoot issues, developing routines and best practices to ensure product quality.
Job Specifications:
Education:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
Experience:Proven experience in EMS or electronics manufacturing with a successful track record in process engineering.
Leadership:Strong leadership and team management skills.
Problem Solving:Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Methodology:Proficiency in Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
Communication:Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Continuous Improvement: Ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Certification:Certification as a 6-Sigma Green Belt is preferred.
