Job description

Job Description:We are seeking two experienced Senior DevOps Engineers to join our team, with a strong focus on AWS DevOps, particularly with expertise in EKS and Dockers. The ideal candidates will have a deep understanding of AWS Cloud services, including but not limited to EC2 instances, ECS, and data-related applications. Familiarity with data tools such as Airflow and DBT is highly desirable. The role involves deploying microservices on Kubernetes using Harness, maintaining a CI/CD pipeline that is integrated with cloud compliance tools like SonarQube, and ensuring the smooth deployment of applications on EKS.Key Responsibilities:- Manage and optimize AWS Cloud services, ensuring robust and scalable solutions.- Deploy and manage microservices architecture on Kubernetes using Harness, ensuring high availability and fault tolerance.- Maintain and improve the CI/CD pipeline, integrating with tools like SonarQube for cloud compliance and security.- Troubleshoot and resolve issues within the CI pipeline, stepping in to fix integration failures and ensuring seamless deployment processes.- Debug pods and networking issues within Kubernetes, ensuring that pods are correctly deployed and in a ready state.- Write and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform and CloudFormation, ensuring that infrastructure provisioning and deployment are automated and replicable.- Utilize GitHub for version control and Jenkins for continuous integration, ensuring that code changes are automatically built, tested, and prepared for deployment.- Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure that deployment strategies are aligned with business requirements and operational standards.Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.- 6-8 years of experience in DevOps, with a strong focus on AWS DevOps practices.- Proven expertise in Kubernetes and Docker is mandatory.- Experience with infrastructure as code tools, particularly Terraform and CloudFormation.- Proficiency in using GitHub and Jenkins for version control and continuous integration.- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues within the CI/CD pipeline, Kubernetes, and AWS environment.- Familiarity with deploying and managing data-related applications and tools such as Airflow and DBT on AWS is highly desirable.- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
