Job description
Job Overview:We are seeking an experienced Oracle EBS (Enterprise Business Suite) Manufacturing Functional Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Oracle EBS Manufacturing modules and possess the ability to understand business requirements and translate them into efficient technical solutions. The role requires excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a deep understanding of manufacturing processes.Responsibilities:Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and identify opportunities for system improvements.Design, configure, test, and deploy Oracle EBS Manufacturing modules including but not limited to Inventory, Bills of Material (BOM), Work in Process (WIP), Manufacturing Execution System (MES), Quality Management, and Cost Management.Provide functional expertise and support during system implementations, upgrades, and enhancements.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, technical consultants, and business users to ensure successful project delivery.Develop and maintain documentation including functional specifications, test plans, user manuals, and training materials.Conduct end-user training sessions and provide ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance.Stay updated with Oracle EBS product releases, patches, and industry best practices.Participate in project planning, estimation, and resource allocation activities.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.G., Oracle Certified Professional) preferred.Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience implementing and supporting Oracle EBS Manufacturing modules.In-depth knowledge of Oracle EBS R12 or later versions.Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including discrete and process manufacturing environments.Proficiency in configuring and customizing Oracle EBS Manufacturing modules to meet business requirements.Experience with integration between Oracle EBS Manufacturing and other modules such as Supply Chain Management (SCM), Procurement, and Financials.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Experience working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and multiple priorities.Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with Oracle EBS implementation methodologies such as AIM (Application Implementation Methodology) or OUM (Oracle Unified Method).Familiarity with Oracle Cloud ERP Manufacturing modules is a plus.Knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL for data analysis and custom report development.Experience with Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE) or other reporting tools.Previous experience in a consulting role with a focus on Oracle EBS Manufacturing implementations.
