Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Robotics Engineer. The Robotics Engineer will be responsible for creating, implementing, and maintaining robotics technology. They will work with the team to develop and optimize robotic systems for use in restaurant settings.

· Experience with programming languages such as XML, C++, Python, Proficiency with ROS/ROS2 and Linux.

· Understanding of basic mechanism and mechanics related to mobile robots.

· Experience with embedded platforms like Arduino, RPI, MicroROS, MicroPython, Embedded interfacing with ROS.

· Integrate and calibrate hardware components such as LiDAR, depth cameras, and IMUs, Motor drivers.

· Knowledge in the field of linear and nonlinear controls and system dynamics.

· Experience in one or more of the following fields: mathematical modelling, state estimation, path planning, computer

· Deploy and deliver algorithms based on robotic path planning, motion planning and decision making (A*, RRT, CC-RRT etc.) to create systems and products.

· Practical experience with one or more sensors and actuators such as: IMU, laser scanner, camera, optical flow sensor and motor drivers etc.

· Hands-on experience with ROS2 framework and Linux operating system.

· Strong experience in working on different communication protocols like RS485, CAN, serial etc.

· Expertise in C, C++, Python- Expertise in systems programming, preferably in kernel module development or device driver development Thorough understanding of the Linux operating system and system calls.

· Intermediate to advanced level experience working with SD, Occupancy grid maps, graph-based maps and HD maps

· Experience working with 3D point cloud map, 2D occupancy grid map, and map stitching techniques in ROS with and without slam algorithms.

· Map Annotations data processing digitization Feature Extraction Experience in Spatial data creation, edition, and management

· Experience working on Filters, SLAM, Visual-SLAM and Algorithms along with 3D pose estimation on sensors data.

· Experience with G-mapping, RTAB, TEB, Cartographer etc,

· OS and Platform: Linux, Robot Operating System, PCL, and OpenCV library with good experience on driver stack for the mapping sensors
