Prime Function

ü Organize and direct the team to supervise all revenues and expenses, as well as all inventories.


ü Responsible for managing the day to day financial reporting and controlling requirements of the departments, and will be required to review and analyze management accounts.


ü To plan, direct, supervise and coordinate the activities of the personnel involved in accounting and other financial functions of the organization.


ü Analyze and interpret financial data and recommend changes to improve financial performance.


ü Maintain an account of all the transactions of the organization.


ü Responsible for budget and cost controls, financial analysis, accounting practices and reports.


ü Any matter which may affect the interests of Novotel Vijayawada Varun should be brought to the attention of the Management.


Key Responsibilities:

People Management

ü Establish and maintain seamless co-ordination & co-operation will all departments of Novotel Vijayawada Varun, to ensure maximum cooperation, productivity, morale and guest service.


ü Respond to queries, by resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner to ensure customer satisfaction.


ü Ensure that the team has been trained for all safety provisions.


ü Ensure that all personnel are kept well informed of department's objectives and policies.


ü Motivate and develop the team to ensure smooth functioning of the department and promote teamwork.

Financial Management

ü Plan & prepare schedules for expense accounts that may be required from time to time.


ü Make sure that all Balance Sheet items are all accounted for a reconciled with their respective subsidiary Ledgers and/or Schedules and all Contra or Clearance accounts are cleared at the end of every month.


ü Assist the Finance Controller to prepare Annual Budgets for effective management of the organization.

Operational Management

ü Control and review the accounting processes of the organization.


ü Research the effects of any changes in Law or Government regulations, on the organizations accounting policies and procedures.


ü Establish and monitor internal controls and processes to assure timely and accurate financial data and reports.


ü Produce ad-hoe reports and analyze to support the information requirements of the Finance Controller.


ü Record, classify and summarize accounting transactions in accordance with the specific standards.


ü Represent the Finance Department in interactions with employees and external individuals & organizations.


ü Check and sign all journal vouchers prepared by Accounts Receivable and Income Auditor.


ü Serve on cross-functional teams as a representative of the Finance Department.
