SAP IBP Integrated Business Planning Inventory Optimization
Job Summary We are seeking a talented SAP IBP Inventory Optimization Consultant to join our team. As the IBP Inventory Optimization Consultant, you will be responsible for assisting in the implementation and optimization of SAP IBP Inventory Optimization solutions for our clients. You will work closely with the project team to understand business requirements, configure the system, and support the deployment of inventory optimization strategies. Your expertise in SAP IBP and inventory management will be essential in driving efficiency and value for our clients supply chain operations. Responsibilities Requirement Gathering Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand inventory management requirements, demand variability, supply chain constraints, and service level targets. System Configuration Assist in configuring SAP IBP Inventory Optimization module settings, including safety stock parameters, lead time modeling, demand sensing, and inventory segmentation. Data Integration Support the design and implementation of data integration interfaces between SAP IBP and other systems, including SAP ERP, SAP S4HANA, and external demand planning systems. Inventory Modeling Assist in developing and maintaining inventory optimization models within SAP IBP, considering factors such as demand variability, lead times, service levels, and supply chain constraints. Scenario Analysis Support the team in conducting scenario analysis and whatif simulations to evaluate the impact of different inventory policies and strategies on service levels, inventory costs, and overall supply chain performance. Performance Monitoring Assist in developing and implementing performance monitoring and reporting mechanisms to track key inventory metrics, identify areas for improvement, and measure the effectiveness of inventory optimization strategies. Change Management Support the development and implementation of change management strategies to ensure smooth adoption of SAP IBP Inventory Optimization solutions by endusers and stakeholders. Training Provide training and support to endusers and key stakeholders on SAP IBP Inventory Optimization functionality, processes, and best practices. Requirements Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience 5 years in SAP IBP Inventory Optimization or related supply chain planning projects. Knowledge of SAP IBP Familiarity with SAP IBP modules, particularly Inventory Optimization, and understanding of inventory management principles. System Integration Skills Basic understanding of data integration concepts and experience working with data integration interfaces in SAP environments. Scenario Analysis Skills Ability to assist in conducting scenario analysis and whatif simulations within SAP IBP to evaluate inventory policies and strategies. Communication Skills Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, stakeholders, and project teams. ProblemSolving Skills Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, with the ability to assist in identifying issues, evaluating alternatives, and implementing effective solutions.
